FAQ's

Methods of TransportQ1. How do I arrange to have my photograph taken under the signpost at either end?
A1. The signpost is run by an independent company, their hours in the main season are 10.00am to 5.00pm however this can vary for further information please call 01736 741222.


Q2. Where can I get the relevant forms that I need to register for the End to End Club?
A2. The relevant forms are available to download here.


Q3. How do I register to join the Club?
A3. To join the club you must complete a membership form and transit verification form. Once both forms are completed please return along with a cheque for £15.00 per certificate to:

Q4. Where do I sign in and how do I go about arranging it?
A4. At either end there is a main point of signing in, at Land’s End you can sign in at the Land’s End Hotel Reception and at John O’Groats you can sign in at The Groats Inn, if the Groats Inn is closed then you can sign in at the Seaview Guesthouse. There is no need to make special arrangements for signing in at either end.


Q5. Where can I get my Transit form stamped and who can stamp it for me?
A5. This can be done by anyone who has a company stamp, and can be done anywhere along route whether it be somewhere you stay, somewhere you stop for petrol and anywhere you get food.


Q6. I have completed and End to End trip but was not aware of the Club before I set out so I did not complete a Transit Verification form, can I still join the club?
A6. Yes you can still join the club. Please complete a Membership form return to us with copies of any photographs and receipts that you have from your journey along with £15.00 to.

Q7. How can I order merchandise from the Club?
A7. Club and Challenge merchandise is available from this website please click to download order form.


Q8. What do we get for our £15.00 membership fee?
A8. For your £15.00 you will receive a printed certificate, membership to the club for a year, a privilege card allowing you free car parking at either end as well as free entry to the exhibitions at Land’s End, a reduced rack rate in the Land’s End Hotel, invitations to our biannual social as well as access to our exclusive range of Club clothing.


Q9. Is there an annual renewal fee? If so when is it payable?
A9. There is an annual renewal fee, reminder forms will be sent out in the month before your membership expires with instructions on how to renew.


Q10. Do we need permission to come on site at either end?
A10. No, permission is not required, all we ask is that if there will be a large group of you that you let us know in case any special allowances need to be made for your group. Please call our main phone line for opening times 0871 720 0044.
