Land’s
End is more than just a starting or finishing point, it is a place of natural
beauty and spectacular scenery with fantastic visitor attractions, shops
and restaurants, plus of course the famous Land’s End Hotel. There
is free parking for anyone, including support crew, who are completing
an end to end, so why not spend a bit of time exploring the site and
discover the great things to do:
Take a walk along the coastal paths and enjoy the stunning coastal scenery and stop at the RSPB Wildlife Discovery Centre where you can Use powerful telescopes and binoculars to spot the many different types of wildlife living around the coastline. Then there is the famous Land’s End Signpost where you can have your picture taken with the post displaying the miles you have travelled from your hometown.

The End to End Story is a free exhibition which details the many different and strange ways that people have made the epic journey. Here you will find details and records of the various ways in which the end to end has been completed over the last few decades, you may feel inspired to try a new way of doing the challenge yourself! The West Country Shopping Village is a 400 square meter undercover shopping experience that houses 3 fantastic shops all located around an indoor village street. Inside the Trading Co you will find a large selection of locally made, and fashion jewellery, pottery, books and a range of Doctor Who toys and merchandise. The Taste of the West stocks many locally produced treats including fudge, biscuits, jams, chutneys, Cornish Scrumpy and Liqueurs. Finally, there is the Land’s End Clothing Co with its selection of sweaters, fleeces, jackets and Cornish Fisherman’s smocks.
There are several refreshment outlets to choose from including the ‘Cornish
Pantry’, serving a selection of hot and cold meals that
can be enjoyed in a large indoor dining area; ‘The Longships
Bar and Restaurant’ housed in a glass conservatory with
stunning views forming a backdrop to your meal; and in summer months
the ‘Old Bakehouse’ which is home to the Cornish
Pasty and offers a selection of Take-away food which can be eaten
on the panoramic sun terrace.
