Magnificent 7

Land's End SignpostBrian Lambton started his End to End trip on 1st July 2006, only this was to be no normal end to end, Brian was going to do the trip seven times back to back using seven different modes of transport. The seven different forms of transport that Brian chose to use were airplane, train, bus, car, motorbike, boat, and finally by foot.

Along route Brian faced many trials and tribulations including beings scalded by saucepan of boiling water whilst on a boat in force 5/6 gales, which has left Brian with a permanent scar. Other tribulations Brian encountered include having one of the motorbike riders who were meant to be escorting Brian to John O’Groats pull out the day before they were due to set off, but thanks to BBC Manchester Brian managed to get another bike and rider to volunteer to help with the journey.

Brian finally finished at John O’Groats on 13th December 2006 over five months after starting his epic journey.

Brian raised monies for ARC (the Arthritis Research Campaign) his chosen methods were an online website and cash donation on route.
